State Unemployment Figures Are in For the Month of February

Unemployment rates in the US are reported by:
  1. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)1 and
  2. individual states through the use of statistics gathered from unemployment offices.

There appears to be some good news at least in California2:

California added 96,500 jobs in February, the highest monthly total (increase) since 1990, the state's Economic Development Department (EDD) said Friday. Credit:upi.com
