  2. Equating food stamps with black people

Mr. Gingrich was forced to explain his statement on Thursday that black Americans should not be “satisfied with food stamps.” If he were the Republican nominee, he had said, he would run against President Obama in part by visiting minority communities to pitch his supply-side recipe for job creation. “If the N.A.A.C.P. invites me, I’ll go to their convention, talk about why the African-American community should demand paychecks and not be satisfied with food stamps.”

  3. Using "black codes" when talking...
Romney as an elected official has been known to make racial slurs. He has recently referred to a construction boondoggle, The Big Dig, as a “Tar Baby” he needs to avoid. Tar Baby - That’s an old school racial slur. It’s not something we want a presidential candidate to say and have such a thought process about.[NBCC]
