US Unemployment Rate for August 2013 fell to 7.3%

Unemployment rate for all African-American or Blacks in the US rose from 12.6% in July to 13% in August [for an increase of .4 p.p.].

Unemployment rate for black men  rose from 12.5% in July to 13.5% for the month of August [increasing a full percentage point or 1.0 p.p. ].

Unemployment rate for black women  also rose  from 10.5% in July to 10.6% in August [increasing .1p.p.].

Unemployment rate for black youth fell  from 41.6% in July to 38.2% in August [dropping 3.2 p.p.].
